2020 D&R Covid Update last updated 5/8/2020 11:02 AM by Justin

D&R Anglers,

We want to first express ours hopes that you and your families are well and dealing with this “stay home” situation as best as you can. Please know that you are in our thoughts during these trying times.

We want you to know that we plan to do everything we can operate tournaments this year. Currently, we are hopeful and moving forward with our 2020 tournament plans. If we are forced to delay the start of our season we will do so and either have fewer events or try to reschedule missed events if possible. Those plans are TBD until we have more information from the State. This year's paybacks and bonus programs are very similar to past ones and will make for an awesome season.

This season, we will more than likely look to implement social distancing practices, especially at angler choke points like the bag line, weigh in line and registration / meetings. Our goal is always to keep our anglers as safe as possible and we will have more information on those practices later.

With the cancellation of the Grand Rapids Ultimate Show and the D&R Spring Show, we temporarily stopped taking apps. As you know the success of the D&R Series is based on getting to 75 boats! We are not there yet and need more anglers! Signing up is easy and can be on the West Michigan Bass website, look under the Info section or by click this link: https://westmichiganbass.com/Signup/Preregister/2. We have created detailed instructions on how to sign up and attached them to this email. Please follow them to get registered. Our goal is to have a full roster by May 26.

If you have any questions, need help getting registered or just want to chat, please feel free to contact us at any time. We will be happy to go through the sign process with you over the phone and/or figure something out.

Thank You,

Randy VanDam
