Joining is easy. Each member must pay the $40 membership fee and fill out our sign up sheet. This can be done at the ramp at any event, during the early draw in April, or by contacting WMB directly.
Nope. 1 membership gives you access to all division events.
WMB collects memberships to pay for expenses - like scales, the website and liability insurance. All entry fees however, are paid back dollar for dollar as event payout, event big bass payout or classic payout. Payouts will never be substituted with product or donated prizes. 100% payback means that every penny collected in entry fees will be paid back in cash or check by the conclusion of the season - period.
Not necessarily. Your classic qualifying points are accumulated as a team, so if entrance to the classic is your intention, having the same partner throughout the season in a single division is important. There is no rule stating you must fish always with the same partner, only that points cannot be transferred between "teams".
Kids 12 and under may fish as a 3rd member in the boat. They do not need pay a membership fee.
You must be 16 years or older to operate a motorized watercraft. Anglers under 18 years of age must have a signed consent form if not accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
No problem. Launch the boat, locate the director on the lake and pay the entry fee. Your livewell will be inspected and then it's time to fish.
Because no one goes down south to have fun in Michigan. Duh.
Not at all. You need something that is safe and that has a livewell in the boat (baskets don't count).
